Comparing Students’ work using ‘Photo Collage’.

Posted on Updated on

The free App ‘Photo Collage’ allows you to compare two pictures taken independently within the same frame quickly and easily, allowing for peer assessment and spot the difference activities.

The App could be used during lesson planning; a frame could be prepared and attached it to a PowerPoint (via email) as part of the feedback from homework tasks.

Additionally, photos could be taken of work in class and put into a frame so that peer assess activities can be assessed in real time, which could then be could connected to the Interactive Whiteboard using the mirroring feature through AirPlay; just select the image from the iPad’s camera roll.

Below is an example of a completed frame, which pupils could use to: peer assess, spot the difference/similarity as well as stimulate conversation/writing with two contrasting images; the list is endless.
